The History of the Sunset Warriors

Long ago in what you mortals call the First Age a war, so terrible that it ravaged the world, was fought through the entire age. Toward the end of the war, a war that the forces of the Creator where losing, 8 pillars were discovered that were said to lead to the Creator himself. A man known as Perlin went up and said that there was a door to heaven. In that door was something that he described as the Winds of Time, which he thought would make you immortal. The leaders of the forces of the Creator immediately hide this discovery while they called their greatest warriors to test this theory of immortality. The group of warriors, lead by the greatest warrior of that time, Sunfire of the Dual Blades, went and rode the Winds of Time. Just as the warriors left the forces of the Shadow mounted a gigantic assult. The forces of the Creator, know as the Light, were driven back under this onslaught. As the sun began to set the final time for the forces of Light, Sunfire with his warriors seemed to ride from the sunset and slew many of the Shadow driving them back to their land were the forces of Light, with renewed spirit, destroyed them. Sunfire of the Dual Blades and his warriors, who received the title of the Sunset Warriors, did indeed receive immortality but were under the command of the Creator returned to the Pillars to come again in the time of great need. Though none remember, in the Second Age, known as the Age of Legends, took a major part of the war. They kept the other worlds safe from the Dark One by defending the Portal Stones. In the 3rd Age they have come again and fight an endless battle in what you know as the Great Blight. They fight under Sunfire of the Dual Blades, but with a different name. You may know him as Ishamael, Lord of the Sunset.
